Student (PhD), Monash
Yun Li was a FLEET PhD student at Monash University, working with Julie Karel within FLEET’s enabling technology B, nanodevice fabrication. Yun studies the magnetic properties of 2D nanomaterials such as graphene, as well as transitional metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) whose layered structures gives them potentially useful magnetic properties. His work aims to fabricate high-performance magnetic devices based on 2D nanomaterials with different magnetotransport properties or tunable magnetism as well as Curie temperature, which can be applied in spintronics and in low-energy electronic devices.
