Dr Sascha Hoinka is an ARC DECRA Fellow in the School of Science, Computing and Engineering Technologies, Swinburne University of Technology. An expert in ultracold atoms, he experimentally studies one-dimensional quantum wires of Fermi atoms. At FLEET, Dr Hoinka was a post-doctoral fellow and took a lead role in designing and constructing Australia’s first quantum-gas microscope – a multi-institution facility hosted at Swinburne.
