Prof Jeff Davis (Swinburne) utilised femtosecond laser pulses in the ultrafast science facility at Swinburne to modify the electronic band structure and realise Floquet topological insulators in 2D materials, which he applied as a Chief Investigator in FLEET’s Research Theme 3, as well as contributing to Research Theme 2.

Jeff served as the Chair of the FLEET’s Equity and Diversity for the Centre’s second half phase of operations. FLEET Executive Committee 2020-2024.
