Jackson Wong
Student (PhD), UNSW
Within FLEET, Jackson completed his PhD with Prof Nagy Valanoor at UNSW in FLEET’s Research Theme 1, topological materials. Jackson’s research investigated the novel electrical properties of Lanthanum Nickelates (LaNiO3) and its oxygen deficient phases in which a metallic-to-insulator and magnetic transition occurs. His focus was on the correlation between the strain, composition and resulting electrical properties of the material.
Dr Jackson Wong is now an Application Development Senior Analyst at Accenture Australia.
