Haydn Adlong was a master’s by research student at Monash University where he worked on Research Theme 3 with Dr Jesper Levinsen and A/Prof Meera Parish studying out-of-equilibrium systems in quantum gases. This involved the use of several approximate methods from theoretical physics, including impurity Green’s functions, functional determinants and time-dependent variational approaches. Haydn is particularly interested in understanding and simulating quantum systems where strong few-body correlations impact the many-body behaviour.
