Haoran Mu was a PhD candidate at the department of Materials Science and Engineering, Monash University. He received his B.S. degree in Measurement & Control Technology and Instrumentation from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2012 and M.S degree in Carbon/Silicon Nanomaterials & Devices from Soochow University in 2015. His research interest focused on atomic-scale nonlinear photonics and applications such as the manipulation and transmission of surface polaritons and the realisation of all-optical switches and modulations.
