Emma Laird was a Women in FLEET Fellow and postdoctoral researcher in CI Matthew Davis‘ group at the Uniuversity of Queensland, also working in research being conducted by CI Chris Vale t Swinburne. Her studies at FLEET concerned the dynamics of the emergence of superfluidity in few-body Fermi gases following quenches within FLEET Research Theme 3, Light-transformed materials.
