Dr Dianne Ruka was the Education and Training Coordinator for FLEET between 2017 and 2020; she led the education and training missions of FLEET. She’s responsible for student recruitment and implementing career development programs and internship placement for ECRs and students. She also steers the development and implementation of outreach programs for FLEET.

Dianne completed a PhD in Materials Engineering at CSIRO and Monash University. She also has a Graduate Diploma in Education from The University of Melbourne. She has previously taught science and mathematics at secondary schools and developed learning activities for primary school students. She is currently the Centre Manager of ARC Training Centre for Cell & Tissue Engineering Technologies based at Monash University.
