Coco Kennedy was an Honours student working with Prof Nagarajan Valanoor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at UNSW. Her project aimed to use focused ion beam milling to template the growth of BFO nanocrystals via pulsed laser deposition, within FLEET’s Research theme 1 topological materials. The work also has potential applications in nanoscale memory devices.
