Abigail Goff
Student (Masters), RMIT
Abby is currently working at the John Monash Science School (JMSS) as an Outreach Coordinator. Prior to joining JMSS, Abby was a FLEET PhD student with AI Torben Daeneke and CI Kourosh Kalantar-Zadeh. Her project aimed to synthesise 2D transition metal nitrides via the liquid metal alloy touch printing method. These nitrides have ferromagnetic properties, making them ideal for spintronic devices, and are part of Enabling technology A: Atomically-thin materials. Abby received her Bachelor with Honours degree in Chemistry from Swinburne University of Technology, which included a year of undergraduate placement at the CSIRO.
